United in diversity
We want to establish the term ‘Nova Europe’ as a brand.
The term ‘Nova Europe’ sounds modern and future-orientated, which is a good contrast to a nostalgic slogan such as ‘Make America Great Again’. Here are some thoughts on this:
1. positive associations: -
‘Nova’ means “new” and conveys renewal, progress and hope. ‘Europe’ stands for diversity, co-operation and the common future of European countries.
2. contrasting approach:
While ‘Make America Great Again’ is strongly focused on the past, ‘Nova Europe’ looks clearly to the future - towards innovation, cohesion and modernisation. It sounds optimistic and
inclusive.
3. internationality:
The Latin origin of ‘Nova’ appeals to different cultures and could speak to a European vision that transcends national borders.
4. sound and strength:
The brevity and conciseness of the term ‘Nova Europe’ make it catchy and memorable - ideal for our campaign or movement.
